Baidu will set up Japanese subsidiary company, preparing for the search service

It is reported by overseas media that a insider said that Baidu had established the subsidiary company which would be unclosed at the end of month.

A person concerned said that Baidu Corp had registered Japanese portal website: www.baidu.jp, uner the last procedure of preparation for releasing the service.

Chen haiteng, the representative of Baidu(Japan), claimed on the web noticeboard:"We will provide the Japanese search service. At present, we are crawling the Japanese websites pages with spider ." Now, the site, www.baidu.jp, has only one page without the link to the service.

Robin Li, Chairman of Baidu board, expressed last month that they planned to invest 15million dollars in Japan, no schedule of Japanese subsidiary company or Japanese search service.
