News Reported China.com Acquired Shanghai-Based Online Business Department of Optisp

Donews, May 27 It is reported by Optisp stuff that China.com will acquire Shanghai-based online business department of Optisp, not the whole company.

Ye Keyong, CEO of China.com Game Business, claimed through an first press with Shanghai media that China.com Game Company will invest 300million dollars to develop business by acquire strategy and plan to be listed on the second seaon of 2008.

An insider said that Ye Keyong conferred on the acquiring with CITIC secrectly when he was in Shanghai.

The news was proved by a high-level manager of Optisp.

Founded on Feb, 1999 and entered into online industry at Martch 2003, Optisp, so far, have owned online game operation, wireless operation, software research and development, Optisp data center and production marketing business groups with 8 branches in Beijing, Shanghai,Guangzhou,Wuha,Xian,Jinan,Chengdu and Shenyang.

Chinese Version of Feedburner Withdrawed for Translation Quality

The two beta versions of Chinese simplified and complicated translation of feedburner just published last week has been withdrawn from the language select catalog, for a lot of feedback on not good translation quality from the users. The famous blogger He Cai tou confirmed that he was responsible for the translation of feedburner before.

FireFox Plan to Compete Straight With Microsoft into Chinese Market

Mozilla(FireFox browser) are preparing for entering into China, perhaps the fastest, largest Internet market in the future, to acquire users in the global competition with Microsoft.

John Lilly, Mozilla COO, and Chirs Beard, the VP of marketing, are going to arrive in the mainland recently with paying series of PR visiting and doing research to decide the final plan.

Jerry Yang admit Yahoo(China) current situation not good

It is reported by foreign media that Yahoo will annouce to accquire Right Media, a U.S online Ad trade platform provider. Jerry Yang,co-founder of Yahoo, said on Wednesday he would recommend Jack Ma, CEO of Alibaba, to run such type of trade platform in China.
  
Jerry Yang delivered this speech above at the conference in California with over 1000 high-tech entrepreneurs from China and U.S, referring to opportunities and challenges with the China rapid growth.  

"I will call Jack Ma, telling him the idea about ad trade platform" Jerry Yang said "a large business opportunity included."

Aug 2005, Yahoo took 40 percent share of Alibaba with 10 billions dollars and Alibaba owned the right to run Yahoo(China) as a exchange.

Jerry Yang said that Yahoo and Alibaba should "catch up with competitor" in Chinese search and portal business, but he estimated the situation reversed untill at least several years later.

"All in all, so far we are considering the deal right, but it's too early to judge whether the collabroration succeed or not." Jerry Yang said "Two sides getting interest from collaboration between China and American companies is the best strategy."
