Jerry Yang admit Yahoo(China) current situation not good

It is reported by foreign media that Yahoo will annouce to accquire Right Media, a U.S online Ad trade platform provider. Jerry Yang,co-founder of Yahoo, said on Wednesday he would recommend Jack Ma, CEO of Alibaba, to run such type of trade platform in China.
　　
Jerry Yang delivered this speech above at the conference in California with over 1000 high-tech entrepreneurs from China and U.S, referring to opportunities and challenges with the China rapid growth.　　

"I will call Jack Ma, telling him the idea about ad trade platform" Jerry Yang said "a large business opportunity included."

Aug 2005, Yahoo took 40 percent share of Alibaba with 10 billions dollars and Alibaba owned the right to run Yahoo(China) as a exchange.

Jerry Yang said that Yahoo and Alibaba should "catch up with competitor" in Chinese search and portal business, but he estimated the situation reversed untill at least several years later.

"All in all, so far we are considering the deal right, but it's too early to judge whether the collabroration succeed or not." Jerry Yang said "Two sides getting interest from collaboration between China and American companies is the best strategy."

The Plan of changing Yahoo China name has been stopped by headquarters.

It is reported by insiderman taht the plan of exchanging "Yahoo China" into "China Yahoo" has been canceled for some reasons.

There are some words spread that Yahoo China had decided to change name as "China Yahoo" on April 18th to show their determination of "localization" and "independent". However, ahead of publishing the news, headquarter in U.S has stopped the plan.

Yahoo! Assist released the specialized uninstall tool.

Recently, Yahoo! Assist, complained by netizen for a long time, put forward the uniinstall tool to announce in the official blog that the behavior is to "avoid result of third-party software uncomplete uninstalling ". An anti-virus people said that the action mean Yahoo commiting their past way.

Besides, Yahoo(China) will also be updated. March 5th, Rising Inc, domestic anti-virus company,announce that Yahoo! Assist won't be considered as malicious. Before that, Yahoo! Assist software were thought of malicious by netizen.
